Chicago Typewriter drama is scheduled to air for 16 episodes and present on tvN every Friday and Saturday at 20:00 KST

Plot

The story of a famous novel writer named Han Se-Joo (Yoo Ah-In) is touted as the Stephen King of Korea. The novel he wrote has always been a best seller even abroad. One day while holding a meet and greet at a cafe in Chicago, Han Se-Joo was interested in an old-fashioned typewriter that became the ornament in the cafe. Not only visually interested, but when he approach and trying to touch the typewriter Han Se-Joo feel that there is a strange attachment.

After asking the owner of the cafe to sell the typewriter, unfortunately, the cafe owner did not want to sell it. Since then, the typewriter has come to life and wants to see Han Se-Joo again. The frightened cafe owner finally sends the typewriter to Han Se-Joo.

Up in Korea, the typewriter finally arrives at Han Se-Joo via a courier named Jeon Seol (Im Soo-Jung). Actually Jeon Seol is not just a courier, but she is a big fan of Han Se-Joo. Unfortunately, Han Se-Joo’s attitude is not very friendly towards Jeon Seol, especially after going through some misunderstandings.

Our Temp Opinion

I dig this kind of drama, the theme that is straight fantasy and clear create more peace inside me while watching this very drama. Well, I only watch two episode so far, but I am getting hook on it. The cinematography is also the main point to watch in this drama, the way they capture moment is so memorable. Two thumbs up so far !
