First Episode

The very first episode begins on subway train, Bong-Hee (Nam Ji-Hyun) is a judicial apprentice at the Judicial Research and Training Institute, the scene start with Ji-Wook (Ji Chang-Wook) being blame by Bong Hee for harassment. Ji-Wook who is a prosecutor, denies any such harassment, but Bong-Hee does not believe him and embarrassed him by telling people.

Later, she catches her boyfriend Hee-joon (Chansung) with another woman in the hotel lobby. Her boyfriend is also a judicial apprentice at the same institute. Bong-Hee gets hurt with his unfaithfulness and tells him that she’ll sleep with the next guy she’s facing. Bong-Hee hints at the next guy he’s facing. When he sees the man, Bong-Hee realizes that the man is the same man he saw on the subway which is Ji-Wook. Finally They decide to have a drink. long story short *as usual* Bong Hee lost her consciousness and woke up in Ji Wook which is very awkward.

3 months later, Bong-Hee is assigned to work in Ji-Wook’s office. He worked hard there. During this time, she runs into Hee-joon and asks her to take her things from her apartment. That night, Bong-Hee goes to Minimarket and when she returns to her apartment, she finds Hee-joon has been stabbed to death. Bong-He arrested for her alleged murderous action and Ji-Wook becomes the prosecutor in her murder case. Even through the heavy pressure of Hee-joon’s father (who is the head of the prosecutor’s office), Ji-Wook finds evidence to prove Bong-Hee’s innocence and free her. Because of this incident, Ji-Wook quit his job as a prosecutor and became a lawyer. Bong-Hee tries to find the man who killed his ex-girlfriend.

2 years later, Bong-Hee and Ji-Wook meet again, but on the opposite side. Bong-Hee represents the plaintiff and Ji-Wook represents the defendant in a court case.

Final Verdict

The drama with background of lawyer life is quite complicated, and sometimes bore the viewer. THIS is not the case here, it sure will develop to more thicker plot, but the very first impression I got on the series is, it is going to be very deep and complicated. The comedy here and there really satisfy my sense. I don’t have any trouble in watching the first episode which is good sign for people with short attention span like me.

The cast is doing their job very well on the first episode, I don’t see any mishap or miss character on the cast which is very promising. Well, all in all this series is quite entertaining and one you should try to follow. Worth the time !
